Credico’s Canadian office spread some much needed holiday cheer to the kids at The Montreal Children’s Hospital, McGill University Health Centre last week. Credico employees donated a total of $300 worth of children’s toys, clothes and candy to the hospital while Credico’s corporate office generously matched the donations.

“I was so honored to give gifts to the children at The Montreal Children’s Hospital. These children are heroes in the greatest sense because they are in the hospital alone during a spirited time of the year in their fight against sickness,” said Nada Jallad, administrative assistant for Credico.

Credico’s team met with some of the staff from The Montreal Children’s Hospital to deliver the bags of toys and treats to the hospital. This was Credico’s first year working with The Montreal Children’s Hospital and plans to continue working with the hospital on future volunteer opportunities. The hospital staff will give out to the children’s gifts a few days before the Christmas weekend to fulfill their holiday wish lists and let them enjoy the spirit of the season.

“It’s so important that we do our part in giving back year-round, but it feels especially great to do so during the holidays,” said Jesse Young, president of Credico. “This year, we wanted to surprise the children hospitalized for an extended period of time with unexpected gifts from our Credico family.”
